As a native of the UK and a lover of countryside escapes, the Old Wagon House was the perfect retreat for a romantic getaway with my partner. the cosy barn, complete with a lace-covered four-poster bed and log burner, provided the ideal setting for a relaxing stay. We were greeted with stunning views of the countryside and enjoyed the convenience of onsite private parking. the highlight of our stay was the private wet room with a walk-in shower, offering a luxurious touch to our countryside escape. We took advantage of the laundry facilities, allowing us to pack light and explore the surrounding area with ease. the hosts were incredibly helpful with recommendations for local activities, including rock climbing and hiking. Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor was a short drive away, perfect for a day trip to immerse ourselves in the history of the area. Newquay, just 55 km from the Old Wagon House, provided a picturesque beach setting for a day of relaxation.
